An in-person, community-based, healing/trauma-informed and survivor-centered curriculum to address insurmountable racial health inequities faced by communities of color during their pregnancy and birthing experiences. The BA NIA approach is like no other program in that we offer a holistic platform that is embedded in the Nguzo Saba and the tenets of Maat. Students will be trained by experts in their field that have an array of experience with trauma, birth, and working with communities that have been adversely impacted. Ancestral Seeds training is specifically designed to meet the cultural needs of the BIPOC community living on the South Side of Chicago.
