Jovanna Johnson

Jovanna has been working with nonprofit organizations for over a year and joined the UIC in 2024 as the Elementary School Coordinator for the North Lawndale and Auburn Gresham neighborhoods. She uses her leadership skills to help others make better day-to-day decisions, focusing on growth, collaboration, and empowerment in underserved communities. Jovanna's work centers on supporting students, families, and local organizations to create positive change. Her long-term goal is to become an entrepreneur, giving back to my city and creating opportunities for others to succeed.
